The Shell team's mission is to deliver a system platform that enables developers to build rich spatial experiences and applications on top of the core Android operating system. As a central component at the heart of the system, Shell interacts at multiple levels with applications - from lifecycle to window management and everything in between. We are building a system with a rich user experience that combines 2D and 3D elements in the system Shell and are looking for an engineering manager to help us build key capabilities to expand the experience and build APIs and frameworks for internal and external developers. A successful candidate in this role is proactive, has experience communicating with multiple partners, and experience driving projects successfully across multiple teams working on different areas of a product stack.
