Meta is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to lead our communications efforts in Singapore. They will have an understanding of the media landscape, experience in consumer, policy/issues, B2B and product communications. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of the digital industry and has a vast experience in developing and executing high-profile communications and content-first initiatives. The successful candidate needs to be strategic, be able to thrive in a high demanding environment, and work on a number of projects simultaneously. This is a full time in office role based in our Singapore Office.
Communications Manager, Singapore Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing comprehensive communications plans to support Meta's product, business, policy, and consumer efforts
  • Creating and executing content-first and social strategies across Meta's social and content channels
  • Providing strategic counsel and rapid response to complex crisis and issues
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including policy, product, monetization, and international Communications teams, to manage media opportunities and broader programs
  • Identifying and pitching compelling press stories to mainstream, consumer, and advertising trade media
  • Preparing briefing materials and supporting executive spokespeople during media interviews and industry events
  • Educating press, bloggers, and creators about Meta, its products, and initiatives
  • Managing agency partnerships to drive successful outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • 8+ years of professional experience in communications, with a mix of agency and in-house experience preferred
  • Existing relationships with press in Singapore
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing communications strategies that drive results
  • Team player with persuasive and decision-making skills, with a track record of thriving in in a high demanding environment and work on a number of projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing PR agencies
