Front End Engineer Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test mobile and desktop web software applications or systems.
  • Lead complex technical or product efforts involving many engineers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers.
  • Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
  • Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing products.
  • Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:
  • 1. JavaScript frameworks, including Ember, Handlebars, and Backbone
  • 2. React, Redux, ExtJS, YUI, PHP, and Zend frameworks
  • 3. Apollo Client and Server
  • 4. Stencil
  • 5. Node.js API for web services based on Koa/Express with GraphQL and REST interfaces
  • 6. Apex or SOQL (including Salesforce)
  • 7. Implementation and risk planning
  • 8. Experience with rich editing frameworks.

$238,638/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
