Meta is seeking a Public Policy Manager to support the strategy and engagement for policy issues in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with or in government, politics, regulatory agencies and a solid understanding of technical and policy issues. As Manager of Public Policy, you will join the Meta Policy Team Latin America and help shape issues and product agendas with policy-makers inside and outside government. You will also advise internal teams on the public policy implications of their products and support strategic outreach and policy campaigns to advance the values and interests of Meta’s products. You will develop, organize, manage, and communicate critical plans, initiatives, and strategies, advocating for Meta products in the context of some of the big public policy issues of the day – including privacy, security, and user safety. In this capacity, you will work with information management and documents production (briefings, assessments, analysis, presentations, among others). This role is based in Brasilia.
