At Meta Reality Labs, we are developing the future of Wearables and Mixed Reality products and this team focuses on developing display and optics technologies for Meta products. Their mission is to create see-through display systems that seamlessly blend the real and virtual realms. This involves designing the architecture and all display sub-systems for AR glasses based on leading technologies developed by Meta’s teams. We work on creating advanced display technologies that are essential for AR and VR systems while having sub-teams who connect bits, electrons, photons, and experience for display products across wearables and the metaverse while focusing on display silicon architecture, applied perception studies, image quality, and defining the roadmap and long-term platform development strategy. Within XDO we also aim to develop and implement test, characterization, metrology, and data solutions to support the creation of transparent display systems. We are seeking a Process Engineer to join the newly-founded Display Engineering China team. As a key member of our China team, you will play a critical role in productizing display modules and systems that are central to delivering transformative experiences in AR products. Your expertise will be focused on tackling complex display integration and assembly challenges, developing optic module assembly process and tools, lamination process and tools, novel adhesive material development, and maturing these new processes from concept to ramp. You will bridge the gap between proof-of-concept to mass production, ensuring seamless integration into our product lines. You will excel in collaborative environments, working effectively across cross-functional teams, including optic, metrology, opto-mechanics, operations, quality, GSM, and suppliers. Your contributions will be critical to the success of our glass product lines, and we look forward to welcoming you to our China team.
