Meta’s Product Risk & Compliance organization brings together the product and regulatory readiness teams responsible for oversight of product risk management and compliance work across the company. Product Risk & Compliance is looking for a Business Operations Manager to join its team and provide strategic, operational and tactical support to the Product Risk & Compliance organization, which encompasses Engineering, Product, Regulatory Readiness, Compliance and Design leaders. This role will be the connective tissue that amplifies the effectiveness of the organizations leadership team and helps the entire organization operate efficiently and strategically. A successful Business Operations Manager will be highly organized, demonstrate experience in project management, and shift seamlessly between strategic counsel and smaller daily tasks. You will be a team-player with exceptional communication skills who is eager to work in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment. You will be a detail-oriented, operationally-minded professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and interact with all levels of leadership.
Business Operations Manager, Product Risk & Compliance Responsibilities
  • Own and operate the rhythm of the business and executive meetings including but not limited to: agenda, follow-up actions, notes, etc.
  • Drive strategic internal initiatives and ensure progress on priority work-streams, help build decision-making frameworks and deliverables
  • Partner with leadership to build programs and processes that enable teams to make decisions and collaborate efficiently and effectively
  • Develop an understanding of the technology the risk organization is responsible for
  • Construct content for external and internal engagements (partner meetings, conferences, all-hands, strategy posts, etc.), including assembling background information and inputs, coordinating the prep team, working with our internal/external communications teams, creating initial drafts of certain communications, or proofing and advising on content
  • Partner cross-functionally with scheduling, logistics as well as with internal teams to drive company-wide touch-points and leadership processes, including internal communications (i.e. Q&A’s, All-Hands, posts and emails)
  • Support daily operations and partner with Executive Admins, internally and externally, as well as operations team for C-suite leadership
  • Partner with Communications, Leads and Operations to help manage company communications calendar
  • Manage prep timelines for global travel commitments and travel with the leaders and team, as needed
  • Travel 10-20% of the time
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience with program management, project management, strategy, management consulting, or operations
  • 2+ years of experience supporting executives, director level and above as a program manager or Chief of Staff
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working directly with all levels both inside and outside of a company, including executive and C-suite levels
  • Experience operating autonomously and in a highly organized fashion to track top organization priorities, identify efficiencies and drive alignment across teams
  • Experience building presentations in Keynote and/or PowerPoint and compiling briefing materials
  • Experience project managing multiple tasks under tight timelines and shifting priorities
  • Experience drafting long and short form leadership communications, working closely with communications teams
  • Experience working within with a product development/engineering organization
  • Demonstrated experience anticipating and recognizing problems, suggesting alternatives or solutions, initiating or implementing solutions, and following through independently
  • Experience motivating and focusing a group of people/organization to reach challenging goals
  • Experience working with technical management teams to help develop processes and solutions
  • Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (PhD, JD, or MBA)
  • Experience working with Product and Risk teams

$174,000/year to $242,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
