Meta is looking for an experienced, business minded and highly talented Retail Marketing leader to take on this exciting role focused on hardware. Reporting to the Channel Marketing Director, this role will own retail marketing, online retail executions, in store marketing programmes and customer acquisition for Meta in the DACH and Southern Europe region. The Meta team is developing the future of the wearable category and bringing products to consumers that transform entertainment and social experiences. The Channel Marketing team at Meta is tasked with growing consumer adoption of Meta hardware technology, driving sell-out and with working with partners to develop this new exciting category.
Channel Marketing Lead, DACH and Southern Europe Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Channel Marketing team in Germany, France and Spain setting clear and consistent objectives and priorities, empowering the team with the resources and information they need and managing them to hit KPIs
  • Work in close conjunction with the Sales General Managers to develop GTM plans, Joint Business Plans and conduct Monthly/Quarterly Reviews
  • Plan and execute retail marketing programs, such as seasonal campaigns, bundles, promotions and content offers to drive sales of Meta products
  • Plan, track and optimise co-marketing budgets - continuously test, measure and refine marketing programs to drive efficiency
  • Own and enhance the customer experience online and in store including fixture placement, demos, online product pages
  • Support retail expansion into new stores and new European markets
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years in a retail marketing role with a clear record of achievement and success in technology based consumer marketing
  • 3+ years of people management experience including managing performance and career growth for experienced individual contributors
  • Experience planning and managing significant marketing budgets
  • A record leading successful retail marketing programmes and go to market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels
  • Proven knowledge in selling consumer goods within both online and retail capacity and experience working directly with retail leaders in Germany and France
  • Clear understanding of the retail landscape and direct experience working with CE retailers in Germany/France
  • Background managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • An understanding of the CE consumer in particular tech early adopters and a passionate advocate for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent German and English language required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experiences developing processes and making existing processes more efficient and scalable
  • Experience managing conflict and addressing issues between stakeholders swiftly in order to maintain effective team relationships
  • Experience bringing new products to market
  • Experience communicating program updates concisely and transparently at all levels across broad teams and organizations
