We are seeking a highly talented individual to join our team as an Account General Manager (GM) focused on Meta Reality Labs wearables, reporting to the Director of Eyewear Sales. This role will lead all sales activity for strategic accounts across multiple product lines. This is a cross functional role directly in contact with customers. The candidate should possess leadership and analytical skills with the experience to communicate and collaborate effectively across internal cross-functional partners - including Category Management, Product Management, Business Development, Data Science, Channel Marketing, and Sales Operations. The position entails establishing and strengthening relationships with both internally and externally. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, driven to make Meta “our retail partner’s best partner", and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. This role requires travel to meet key accounts face to face.
Meta Account Manager, Eyewear Channel Responsibilities
  • Forming partnerships and developing trusted relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Partnering with cross-functional leadership to define and develop scalable processes to identify growth opportunities and drive efficiencies
  • Providing clear account KPI and P&L business context to internal/external stakeholders
  • Providing product feature expertise and consistently demonstrate this value to retail partners
  • Developing a review cadence for business & marketing investments through internal strategic framework lens
  • Leading strategic communication and engagement with retail partner leadership team
  • Building and maintaining influential relationships with retail partner executives while leveraging top-to-top engagements to identify and achieve joint growth opportunities
  • Demonstrating an understanding of partner business strategy and objectives
  • Developing & executing strategic engagement plan & participation strategy for key retail partner Initiatives
  • Owning and driving annual retailer contract process while gaining internal alignment and cross-functional approvals
  • Leading team projects and meetings, communicating key deliverables and holding team accountable on results
  • Demonstrating expert-level command of dashboards and tools with the skill to identify trends or concerns
  • Sharing knowledge with leadership team and across the organization
  • Acting as consultative industry & product knowledge expert to retail partner and internal cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrating an understanding of market share of category, retail partner, and product
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business or Marketing-related field or similar work experience
  • 5+ years in a sales role with a demonstrated record of success in technology-based sales or relatable experience
  • Track record of excelling in both business planning and tactical execution, with a clear understanding of the various tools available to drive retail sales
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels
  • Proven communication and presentation skills with a professional business acumen
  • Experience advocating for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in Optical industry or good knowledge of Eyewear industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape

$129,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
