We are seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist who has proven experience of finding solutions to complex issues and has demonstrated experience of understanding of the bigger picture. In this role, you will provide quality support and case management services to employees and key stakeholders. You will work closely with our Benefits, Life@, Accommodations, Legal, Payroll, and HRBP teams to ensure seamless leave management and support.
People Specialist, Benefits & Leaves Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day escalations related to International Leaves, this includes EMEA and APAC
  • Supporting Shared Service model working with vendor on escalations and process improvements
  • Responsible for complex sick leave case management which includes engaging with key stakeholders (Legal, HR, Employee Relations) on issue resolution and follow up
  • Manage and escalate system and processing issues and liaise with internal business partners on resolution
  • Perform case management and coordinate International Leaves policies and process for end-to-end case management
  • In-depth experience of International statutory sick leaves
  • Demonstrated experience in building relationships and influence others while working cross-functionally
  • Facilitate and drive meetings with employees and internal/external stakeholders for issue resolution and follow-up
  • Escalate complex cases appropriately with Life@ and Legal for guidance
  • Support International Leaves Manager in supporting ad hoc project work and escalations that require immediate attention and resolution
  • Provide detailed information or ad-hoc reports as requested by HR and/or Legal
Minimum Qualifications
  • HR experience, beneficial if focused on Leave of Absence and/or Case Management
  • Demonstrated track record of crafting clear and concise emails, reports & documents for a broad range of stakeholders
  • Proven skills in attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine the appropriate action
  • Experience in maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of legal landscape in EMEA and APAC leaves
  • HR certification preferred
