The Global Partnerships team at Meta is responsible for fostering relationships with top and emerging partners across Creators, Public Figures, Thought Leaders, and Media organizations. The team helps drive product priorities with partners across Meta’s family of apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp. To support this effort, Meta is seeking a results-driven Strategic Partner Manager to drive relationships with social commentators in North America. This role is expected to work collaboratively with other Meta teams while developing distinct executive relationships with major creators to enhance their presence and engagement on Meta platforms. The SPM will focus on driving product adoption, operational efficiency and business value for Meta; while increasing social value and monetization for the Creator.
Strategic Partner Manager, Commentators Responsibilities
  • Identify strategic partners and prioritize educating them on Meta’s platform and technology. Manage the implementation and optimization of these partnerships.
  • Educate Creators on effectively utilizing our family of apps to engage with fans.
  • Combine high levels of strategic thought with execution — from maintaining high-profile relationships to supporting day-to-day operations, such as fielding and prioritizing partner requests, troubleshooting partner issues, and using analytics to improve partner performance. Serve as the primary point of contact and proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues.
  • Lead, develop, implement and track creator programs to meet the needs of the creator community and drive product adoption, retention, and innovation tied to specific company goals.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for partners by coordinating with Meta's Business Development teams, sourcing opportunities, and managing internal communications with other partnership teams.
  • Distill and surface industry and partner feedback to collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, policy, legal, marketing, and communications teams to launch and promote Meta products and solutions tailored for Creators.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key metrics and business trends relevant to partner relationships to ensure partnerships deliver value.
  • Identify and track industry trends, key moments, and relevant industry events to help to drive the team’s strategic approach to these opportunities.
  • Manage time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and across a range of stakeholders.
  • Execute decisions and deliver communications in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
  • Demonstrate creativity in suggesting and building scalable solutions that enhance the relevance and impact of Meta platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience, including product management, partner, or account management roles.
  • Previous work experience with creators or social commentators — through direct professional relationships, management agencies, talent agencies, platform partnerships or equivalent.
  • Expertise in working with digital platform content from both production and activation perspectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, collaboration, and relationship-building.
  • Proven experience in thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
  • In depth understanding of the digital ecosystem, social platforms and creator landscape.
  • Agile, quick learner who embraces challenges and opportunities, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of working effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, demonstrated in clarifying and summarizing complex issues.
  • Public and/or External engagements experience
