We're looking for an experienced and strategic Internal Communications Manager to join the Internal Strategic Response (ISR) team within Internal Communications. As a key member of the ISR team, this person will play a critical role in leading the development and execution of rapid response strategies for important employee matters, externally-driven press and other reputational challenges. Additional skills that will serve you well in this role: Advising and influencing key stakeholders, confidence in taking risks, and operating under pressure while prioritizing the most important work.
Internal Communications Manager, Strategic Response Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of internal communications strategies that address sensitive and high-priority issues.
  • Lead the creation of crisis communication playbooks and strategies to respond to major issues that may impact employees.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Meta leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PR, Legal, HR and Internal Community Relations, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective internal communications strategies that address sensitive and high-priority issues.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to analyze and utilize data to improve internal communications.
  • Experience turning complex information into relevant, timely and valuable content.
  • Can manage changing priorities and deadlines, and work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and experience working on time-sensitive initiatives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and impactful work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the technology industry.
  • Experience managing internal communications for a globally distributed and hybrid workforce (remote and in-person).
  • Experience working on company change communications.

$145,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
