The Workplace Implementation Manager is responsible for managing the roll out of the Workplace@Meta program within the Bay Area. The Workplace@Meta program is a new workplace option for Meta rooted around the principles of unassigned (hoteling) desking and employee mobility, allowing teams to work more flexibly and collaboratively. The Workplace Implementation Manager will be part of the Workplace Planning Central Programs team and coordinate with other workplace planning team members (Workplace planning managers, move team) and project, design and operations teams to successfully implement new Workplace programs in both new and existing locations. Key functions of this role include: Managing project plan - including workspace, communication, client engagement and operations, for each project location, guiding team of change managers, partnering on collection of metrics and feedback to inform future Workplace@ locations and developing documentation and materials and program elements to enhance the workplace experience.
Workplace Implementation Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage Workplace@ project plans in the Bay Area, integrating all components needed to transition team to a shared workplace experience, including workspace updates, communication, client engagement and operations, for each project location
  • Guide Change Manager team, providing daily direction to project assignment and alignment of tasks
  • Coordinate services with internal FCS teams on projects, including defining scope and specific site adjustments to program
  • Provide direction and prioritization on required work across multiple projects, weighing client team and portfolio supply needs
  • In working with Planning Manager team, develop project engagement plan per client and support relationships with key client team leads to understand business drivers, equipment requests and protocol feedback
  • Establish process steps and documentation for implementation of Workplace conversion of existing space, including anticipating timing for each step and roles and responsibilities across cross functional teams
  • Partner on collection of metrics and feedback to inform future access locations
  • Develop documentation and materials and program elements to enhance Workplace experience
  • Develop and manage the Workplace Program pipeline in the Bay Area
  • Partner with FCS Projects and Operations team to advance proactive shared workplace support strategy, including establishing planning and implementation guidelines for new builds
  • Partner with FCS teams (CAFM, etc.) to develop utilization analysis reporting to inform neighborhood assignments and sharing ratios
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years in workplace/space planning, project management, facilities management, workplace experience or related field
  • Subject matter expertise in workplace planning considerations, includes familiarity with wide scope of workplace strategies and set ups and knowledge of workplace trends
  • Customer service skills including organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with all levels of the employees and external vendors
  • Experience with project coordination and directing the work of others in multiple locations
  • Experience creating clear and replicable documentation on Access program components, including client facing materials
  • Experience managing processes and relationships within a matrix organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong spatial skills with experience in the implementation of workplace strategies and the experience translating business requirements into space requirements
  • Familiarity with database tools (ex. CAFM)
