We are seeking a Public Affairs Product Marketing Manager to join our growing corporate product marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to define and execute on the Meta Public Affairs global marketing strategy, helping key audiences across consumer, press, and policy understand the value our portfolio of products provide to people and society, and the progress we are making to build responsibly. You will work with both product and communications teams across our apps and AI to achieve our Public Affairs goals and help our portfolio of products thrive. Analytical, team players who can easily adapt to changing needs and priorities and thrive in dynamic environments will be happiest in this role. Public Affairs Product Marketing Manager, Cross-Meta & Brand Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Approach: Define and own the strategy to achieve Public Affairs marketing goals, including developing thoughtful recommendations and action plans for complex issues
  • Implement Data-Driven Programs: Design and execute holistic, data-driven programs with clear, measurable results that align with product and communications strategies
  • Lead Cross-Functional Product Teams: Direct product teams across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads to deliver product solutions, defining requirements, establishing project timelines, and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with Central Communications Teams: Work closely with central communications teams to drive strategy decisions, align approaches with broader Comms and Public Affairs programs, and track progress against goals
  • Team Support and Communication: Support the team through effective communication, proactive problem-solving, and information distribution
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Proactively assess risks, raise flags, and resolve issues before they impact the larger team
  • Strategy & Execution: Flexible between strategic and tactical/executional responsibilities
  • Internal Partnerships and Influence: Build internal partnerships, influence stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment across teams to execute strategy
  • Campaign Reporting and Updates: Establish a communication structure to report campaign updates, progress, and status in partnership with cross-functional teams and marketing & communications leadership
Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • 7+ years work experience on political and/or public affairs campaigns, social marketing, and/or consumer marketing
  • Experience managing large, complex programs within a cross-functional environment, spanning multiple groups within a complex organization, and indirectly leading teams that do not report directly to you
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree
  • Experience working directly with product and engineering teams
  • Experience working effectively with all levels of management
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience, with experience leading and handling multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline
  • Fast learner, eager to learn new technologies. Roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and willingness to take the initiative and make things happen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of how the global political landscape and relevant policy issues affect our industry and company
  • Demonstrated knowledge to step back and think holistically about goals and how we can best achieve them
  • Public Affairs experience (policy, communications, and/or marketing) in effectively creating better conditions to achieve desired policy outcomes
  • Outbound campaign experience using social channels to shift perception with key audiences

$158,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
