At Meta Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality(MR). As a wireless system integration Engineer focused on wireless consumer devices, you will have the opportunity to work on the intricate and complex challenges impacting product design to deliver the state of the art wireless solution.
Wireless System Integration Engineer Responsibilities
  • Developing Algorithms and Solutions to validate and characterize RF system performance.
  • Analyze root cause wireless performance issues from both software and hardware
  • Authoring scalable software in C/C++ for controlling wireless chipsets and instrumentation
  • Partner with operations and factory engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes
  • Design experiments to understand the impact of RF impairments.
  • Create Test plans which will be deployed on production and manufacturing lines to guarantee quality and performance
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years related working experience
  • Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and communications theory
  • Solid fundamentals programming in C/C++ and Python or a similar language
  • Good working knowledge of RF measurements and metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment including: spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector signal generators, power sensors, switch controllers, etc.
  • Capable of average 50% traveling
  • Interactive communication skill
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Antenna/OTA measurements and testing
  • Understanding of Cellular Standards(5G,LTE etc.) especially on the Physical layer
  • Knowledge of object oriented programming concepts and scalable software solutions
  • Experience with data parsing and analysis using a scripting language like Phyhon
