Meta Reality Labs is seeking an experienced Central Planning and Program Management Lead to join our Core Solutions team. We are dedicated to driving the success of our Sales capability roadmap, enabling rapid business growth, unlocking data-driven insights, and driving operational efficiencies. As a key member of our Core Solutions team, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs, prioritize capabilities, and unlock growth through a rigorous process of program planning, solution design, execution, and adoption. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, program management expertise, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working with ambiguity.
Central Planning and Program Management Lead Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic Alignment: Ensure Sales Capabilities roadmap projects align with the RL Sales strategic objectives through the identification, prioritization, planning, and execution of projects. Assess impact, scope, resourcing, and timelines for effective roadmap planning
  • Portfolio Governance: Provide oversight and governance for projects within the portfolio, including greenlighting processes and steering committee reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Program Management Office: Lead a team of project managers to drive standardization and continuous improvement in project management materials (charters, project plans, requirements, user stories, testing scenarios) and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Executive Communications: Develop and deliver executive-level communications that effectively roll up individual project status, performance metrics, and key issues into a comprehensive portfolio view, enabling informed decision-making and strategic guidance on the Sales Capabilities roadmap.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of the portfolio and individual projects, track progress against goals, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Adoption Support and Enablement: Support the adoption of new solutions by collaborating with training teams, ensuring effective user enablement, accurate documentation, and handover to scale support teams to drive successful solution implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience: 6+ years in business strategy, strategic planning, or sales operations.
  • Education: B.S. or M.S. in a business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or similar discipline).
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving sales performance and efficiency improvements with a robust approach to project or program management across teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Consumer and B2B businesses, and Sales processes, systems and tooling.
  • Analytical Skills: Highly analytical individual with the experience to translating complex business needs into practical, durable, and adaptable solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated experience clearly communicating complex ideas and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience working with Google Suite and Salesforce (or similar) tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading collaboration with Sales teams to align methodology, systems, and processes.
  • Familiarity with consumer electronics, technology, B2B, and/or retail industries
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization systems (Tableau or similar).

$126,000/year to $178,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
