Director of Corporate FP&A
Meta is seeking a leader of the Corporate FP&A and FP&A Operations team within the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization. In this highly visible role, you will oversee our company-wide planning processes to deliver financial insights and analyses that inform key business and resource allocation decisions at the highest levels of Meta. The breadth of this role provides broad visibility into Meta’s business and operations and has a large impact within our growing Finance organization. Successful candidates for this role will need well-rounded knowledge of Corporate FP&A and Corporate Finance concepts, team leadership experience, and strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Prior experience managing a team is required. The role will report directly to a Vice President of Finance.
Director of Corporate FP&A Responsibilities
  • Produce a long-range plan that supports strategic objectives and delivers shareholder value
  • Lead the annual budget process, including partnering with functional FP&A teams to thoughtfully allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and execute on operational plans
  • Consolidate the quarterly forecast and actuals performance of the P&L, identify key business and financial trends, and proactively communicate them to management
  • Provide quarterly free cash flow outlook to drive capital allocation decisions
  • Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships between Corporate FP&A and cross-functional teams including Accounting, Investor Relations, Treasury, Tax, Compensation and Enterprise Engineering
  • Oversee presentations, key analyses, and corporate models for the Board, management, and other key internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of key company initiatives by providing FP&A leadership, performing financial analyses and modeling, and sharing insights
  • Drive the long-term transformation of our planning approach, operations, and technology, including identifying and sponsoring initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools and systems
  • Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance
  • Provide thought partnership and foster collaboration across the FBP organization while directly leading a team of 40+ managers and individual contributors
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15+ years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, business strategy, business operations and/or analytics
  • Understanding of financial statement analysis and corporate finance concepts at an expert-level
  • Superior communication skills to tailor messaging for audiences of varying level of seniority and technical expertise
  • Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnering with senior leadership across organizations
  • Proven Excel and analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into both insights and recommendations
  • Experience with multi-tasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and competing deadlines
  • Management experience leading and developing teams through a wide spectrum of scope
Preferred Qualifications
  • Consolidation and corporate finance experience in a large public company
  • Experience driving operational efficiency and execution
  • Experience working with financial planning systems, preferably Oracle products (e.g., Hyperion Essbase)
  • Experience with improving financial planning systems and tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Fusion/Cloud) to drive process efficiencies
