Meta’s Global Industry Marketing team is actively seeking a full-time and experienced marketing professional who will drive key industry marketing initiatives on a global scale. The Industry Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and driving a strategic industry marketing plan related to various product initiatives, including programming for Meta’s 1P retail store, and industry conferences. The Industry Marketing Manager role will require an extensive amount of relationship-building—from forging strategic partnerships with industry partners to gaining the trust of cross-functional partners and key stakeholders worldwide. They will also be responsible for collaborating with the rest of the Global Experiential and Industry Marketing team across messaging, partnerships and programming for relevant industry events and executive engagements. This individual will be joining Meta’s Global Industry Marketing team, responsible for Meta’s largest thought leadership and industry partnerships work across the company.
Industry Marketing Manager Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic industry marketing plans to support go-to-market for existing and new products, that outlines ways to engage with key audiences and industry organizations crafting the right speaking opportunities to establish Meta’s leadership in innovation
  • Establish and manage an executive speaking program aligned to product opportunities and priorities, including identifying, vetting and securing speaking opportunities
  • Manage external agency vendor for speaker placement, pitching and logistics
  • Develop calendar of tentpoles, industry events and partnerships and key moments where Meta can deliver product narratives
  • Build relationships both internally and externally to position the Global Industry Marketing team ahead of the current state of the industry when it comes to innovation, identify trends and build the brand’s reputation
  • Create bespoke partnerships with industry organizations to foster connections with influential industry leaders and customers
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8 + years of marketing experience, in developing and producing successful speaking engagements for companies and/or executives
  • The Industry Marketing Manager must be someone who is a self starter and thrives in an extremely fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience working with a large cross-functional team to produce thought leadership and partnerships for experiential programs
  • The individual who ultimately steps into this role must possess effective organizational and communications skills—and a marketing mindset that is strategic
  • Experience managing and developing engagement programs for internal and external stakeholders
  • History of relationship-building, particularly with industry thought leaders, industry organization leaders, etc.
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Proven communication skills
  • Skilled when it comes to working cross-functionally and building long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing an editorial calendar and pitching ideas and stories (experience in managing a PR agency is a plus)
  • Understanding of the technology landscape and new product launches as it relates to marketing and customer experiences—and of key challenges
  • Experience working in consumer marketing or brand marketing is a plus

$122,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
