Strategic Planning, Operations and Analytics Lead Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with VPs and other senior stakeholders to identify and structure high-priority programs across sales and go-to-market teams.
  • Manage communications, oversee milestones, and timelines, and lead cross functional groups to synthesize feedback and deliver on objectives.
  • Identify and execute initiatives that create efficiency and increase ROI of work.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational excellence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define architecture for data and technological solutions that enable efficiency and data- driven decision making.
  • Develop execution roadmap to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end analytical projects, including planning, design, development, insights, project communications, and executive storytelling – in a consistent and structured manner, using SQL / Advanced Excel / data visualization tools.
  • Design and build business reviews reflecting the performance of our key initiatives across clients, partners, and key solutions.
  • Define the operating model for sales / sales enabling teams (100+ FTEs, $500M-$1B in investment) to maximize impact & operational excellence.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decision-making and driving business outcomes through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work Location - 1 Meta Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025 and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master of Business Administration (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Analytics, Operations Management, Finance or related field and 8 years of work experience in the job offered or similar role. Requires 4 years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Conducting analysis using proprietary and market data, such as revenue, product, market, and industry trends, to derive insights that drive strategic business decisions.
  • 2. Leading complex end-to-end analytic projects, including planning, design, analysis, stakeholder management, and communication.
  • 3. Project management experience building detailed project plans, leading project launches, and ensuring the smooth running of business rhythms.
  • 4. Advanced communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and insights to C-suite executives, leading to strategic decisions being made.
  • 5. Experience defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and goals for complex, technology-driven business initiatives.
  • 6. Experience working across regions with global business stakeholders.
  • 7. Excel knowledge and technical skills, and experience with a variety of technical tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBI) to scale insights for business decision making.
  • 8. Leading technology transformations, working with and influencing technology leaders (CTOs, CIOs, or other senior leadership).
  • 9. Design and execution of operating model transformations at the VP/C-suite level.
  • 10. Sales systems transformations and process improvements to drive sales efficiency and growth.
  • 11. Developing business cases for OPEX / CAPEX investments and securing executive leadership buy-in.
  • 12. Marketing and sales analytics, with a strong understanding of statistical modeling and its applications for multi-billion-dollar businesses.
  • 13. Developing and implementing customer targeting models to drive business growth and improve engagement.
  • 14. Customer segmentation techniques to identify and target high-value customer segments.
  • 15. Ability to work with large datasets, using advanced mathematical and statistical modeling (e.g., predictive modeling, scenario modeling), and developing predictive models that identify new opportunities and optimize business performance.
  • 16. Cross-functional collaboration with data science and data engineering teams.
  • 17. Influencing roadmaps for product and technical functions.
  • 18. Experience managing, developing, and growing analytics and/or strategy teams.

$239,783/year to $247,500/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
