- Research, architect, develop and deploy scalable datacenter network architectures and related tooling.
- Work closely with our hardware, software and sourcing teams, and external vendors to develop new optical solutions and influence the future of networking and its associated infrastructure.
- Partner with our software teams to develop the tooling required to provision, manage, monitor and troubleshoot our networks.
- Develop automated network monitoring systems to mitigate and remediate network events.
- Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues.
- Test new network products including both HW and SW and pilot them in production DC networks before a mass rollout.
- Develop test automation frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipeline to qualify network software before push in production.
- Develop tests that qualify complex network migration procedures in lab/emulation before executing the same in production.
- Participate in DC network on-call rotation.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Requires university-level coursework, research project or internship must include experience in the following: Programming in at least one of the following languages:
- 1. Python, C++, Go, or other languages
- 2. TCP, IP[v4|v6], BGP and related protocols
- 3. Network hardware platforms and their specifications in the datacenter space
- 4. Physical infrastructure design including structured cabling and fiber-optic cabling and
- 5. Developing test automation frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipeline to qualify network software before push in production.
