Meta is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our AI Communications Team. This role will focus on telling the stories of how Llama, our collection of open large language models and tools, is being used by partners and their clients to drive business outcomes. You will work closely with partners who are building innovative solutions using Llama, identifying opportunities to showcase their successes and thought leadership in the industry. Your goal will be to develop compelling narratives that highlight the impact of Llama on businesses and industries, while also demonstrating Meta's commitment to open-source innovation.
Communications Manager, Artificial Intelligence Responsibilities
- Drive innovative communications strategies for Llama through an understanding of the Llama offering, our partners' brands, market trends, and challenges.
- Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans that showcase the value of Llama to partners, developers, and end-users.
- Craft engaging narratives that highlight the impact of Llama on businesses and industries.
- Identify opportunities to work outside traditional media channels, including partnering with podcasters, tech influencers, and analysts to amplify stories and reach new audiences.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure alignment with Meta's communication goals.
- Provide regular updates and insights to internal stakeholders on communication strategies and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of generative AI concepts, trends, and innovations.
- Experience working in cross-functional organizations, collaborating with product, business development, analytics, and marketing teams.
- Experience with editorial skills, distilling complex technical details into easily understood information.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing media outreach strategies, pitching compelling storylines, and fostering collaborative relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Experience understanding partners' business objectives and target audiences, crafting effective communication strategies that highlight their achievements with Llama.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a communications role.
- Understanding of developer audiences and experience crafting narratives for them.
- Experience in AI communications or marketing.
- Experience in analyst relations.
- Resourceful communicator, experience managing multiple high-level projects simultaneously.

$116,000/year to $170,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
