As a Product Designer on the Monetization team at Meta, you will be working on the forefront of advertising technology, designing the next-generation, large-scale platforms and AI services to help connect billions of people around the world. We are a group of highly-talented, collaborative and motivated teammates, with a scope spanning some of the most mature and used Meta products, and also spearheading innovation. By working with us, you will designing how the business of tomorrow will grow, ensuring our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use and of the highest level of craft and execution. By focusing on people and doing the simple things first, we develop quality experiences for some of the world’s biggest, most challenging problems.
Product Designer Responsibilities
  • Think like a long and short-term like Product Manager, execute like a high-craft Product Designer
  • Work independently to complete projects at the level of whole features within a well-scoped domain
  • Design experiences that are elegant and intuitive for our supported platforms
  • Design new experiences or layouts that evolve or define visual systems
  • Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise the bar for quality
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
Minimum Qualifications
  • Product thinking with the experience of understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company.
  • Experience building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features/products across a variety of platforms.
  • Interaction design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs.
  • Experience in prototyping.
  • Visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense.
  • Knowledge in clearly and succinctly articulating the goals of your team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a product manager, or having a PM mindset to approach the work
  • Experience working with high-density desktop interfaces
  • Experience showcasing your end-to-end design process across multiple projects, that include interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Experience connecting your work with other related initiatives across the company
  • Experience designing business products from basic to advanced users
