The role is within the Operations Finance team of Reality Labs (RL). The Operations Finance team supports the RL Operations team, which is responsible for Sourcing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Post-Sales services for our entire portfolio of products across Oculus and Portal. We focus on helping the Operations team to optimize performance across products and manage all expenses. This team is part of Meta’s consumer hardware group, which includes Oculus and Portal and plans to release multiple products over the next few years. In this role, you will manage the logistics spend of the Operations team. You will work closely with business leaders in setting targets, measuring performance, and in finding cost savings or cost optimization opportunities. You will also be leading various process improvement initiatives and developing decision making frameworks that help the team optimize on costs. You will work closely with operations and supply chain and will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility and considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a growing RL Finance organization. Successful candidates for this position and team have a bias toward action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. RL Finance Manager, Operations Finance - Logistics & Supply Planning Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Operations teams to provide data driven decision support for Logistics focused on unit economics, fixed costs, scalable solutions.
  • Build complex financial models that provide insight into product costs and inform monthly close/quarterly forecasts/annual budgets and long range planning.
  • Deliver management reporting packages informing leaders on KPI’s, business goals and forecasts.
  • Drive financial deep dives and deliver operational and cost efficiencies by partnering with cross-functional partners.
  • Compile presentations for the RL leadership team on a variety of topics and drive solutions/action items with business partners to deliver impact across the business.
  • Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Experience in Logistics operations
  • FP&A experience – including Budgeting, Long Range Planning, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis
  • Experience in applicable accounting concepts
  • Experience developing analytical frameworks and communicating concepts to leadership
  • Experience with building financial models in Excel
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase and G-suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in scaling logistics organizations from start-up to highly optimized operations (data mining/system implementation/dashboard creation/cadence reporting)
  • Understanding of operational cost drivers in retail and e-commerce
  • Understanding of capacity planning and utilization drivers
