Technical Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, requires managing multiple cross team interdependencies.
  • Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, evolution, and develop a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet the requirements across multiple products.
  • Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple teams and influence program direction and plans.
  • Work with engineering and product management leadership to define and revise the long-term strategy for the organization.
  • Establish expertise in an area, becoming the go-to escalation point for execution, leader for driving visibility across the program, and orchestrator for managing the integration across your program area.
  • Drive technical excellence within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  • Become a trusted partner for leadership and cross functional teams do develop and execute high complex deliverables.
  • Represent and present deliverables to Meta’s C-suite leaders for alignment and decisioning.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment, drive impact through deployment of key initiatives and garner adoption of those processes.
  • Requires 10% Domestic and International travel.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer science, Electrical Engineering or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Requires 7 years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Program manager, leading complex hardware and/or software development programs
  • 2. Driving technical programs or products from inception to delivery
  • 3. Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
  • 4. Proven communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa expertise in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 5. Managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • 6. Lead execution across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, with experience to make technical and product tradeoffs balancing business needs and technical constraints
  • 7. Implementation of 3+ enterprise security controls across a company: Operating System security (Windows, Mac, Linux), endpoint protection solutions, network security, incident response tooling, Vulnerability scanning (network and host-based), compliance and governance (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001), data loss prevention controls, or user identity authentication (certificate-based authentication, Azure AD)
  • 8. Scripting or data querying languages (Python or SQL)
  • 9. Program management best practices (PMP, PgMP, Six Sigma Black Belt or CSM)
  • 10. Platform scalability and performance testing
  • 11. Building disaster recovery, incident management processes, and service reliability programs to enable workforces incident response during outages.

$280,612/year to $308,220/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
