Meta is seeking an experienced Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design professional to lead our team in developing cutting-edge hardware accelerator IPs in Audio, Computer Vision, and Image Processing. As an ASIC Design Manager, you will drive innovation and lead the development of next-generation technologies.
ASIC IP Design Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of ASIC design engineers, including hiring, training, and guidance to ensure on-time and on-budget product delivery
- Drive RTL design planning and execution for Audio, Computer Vision, and Image Processing hardware accelerator IPs
- Develop design methodologies and integrate IP designs into SOC
- Participate in silicon architecture and micro-architecture development
- Interface with Architecture, SW/FW, Verification, Modelling, Emulation, and Post-Silicon Validation teams
- Collaborate with IP development teams to identify, select, and license soft and hard IPs
- Analyze, review, and contribute to SOWs from vendors, supporting documentation, and requirements sets that meet internal customer needs
- Performance MetricsDefine, implement, and maintain key performance indicators (KPI) for areas of responsibility
- Partner with technical program management and supply chain team members to manage external development partners, suppliers, and vendors
- Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including executives, team managers, and individual contributors
- Foster innovation within the team by encouraging new ideas and approaches to design and development
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of proven expertise in ASIC design and development
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams
- Technical experience in: RTL design, u-Arch, IP design, SOC integration
- Proven communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including: Architecture, SW/FW, Verification, Modeling, Emulation. Post-silicon validation teams
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with external development partners, suppliers, and vendors
- Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in ASIC design and development
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based design and development tool
- Certification in project management or a related field

$173,000/year to $249,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
