Every month billions of people access Meta's products using mobile devices from across the world. Our mobile teams constantly push the boundaries of the user experience across all our apps, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and more, as a leader in an exciting and fast-paced industry that is evolving daily. We are seeking a full-time product management leader to join our Preloads team. As a lead PM, you will specialise in defining the strategy and building products & infrastructure on world-class technologies that bring our social experiences to billions of people, anytime and anywhere. You'll also lead and grow a team of senior PMs. Touching upon user interfaces, mobile, infrastructure and machine learning with the opportunity to build products that operate at a global scale.
Lead Product Manager, Preloads Responsibilities
  • Establish a shared strategy across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Drive the strategy for a portfolio of products to create a deliberate plan and a cohesive strategy
  • Manage and grow a team of product managers, while also expanding existing product strategy
  • Navigate complex system integrations and explain business decision to company leadership
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of products
  • Drive product development with a team of engineers, data scientists, and designers
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Minimum Qualifications
  • 9+ years of product management experience, or equivalent tech experience building products at scale
  • 5+ years of experience as a people manager
  • Experienced in hiring and growing teams of product managers
  • Experience using data to solve business problems, and leading through influence (vs authority)
  • Structured communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or technical discipline, or equivalent working experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building consumer software at massive scale
  • Experience in hiring and managing multi-disciplinary teams
