Meta is looking for a Director of Product Management to shape and execute technology strategy for its codec avatars within Reality Labs. This high visibility role will spearhead innovative, industry-first technologies and solutions that allow people from around the world to use realistic looking avatars to express themselves and connect with each other in meaningful ways. Meta Product Management Leaders work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and researchers to build products. In this role, the Product Management Director must be able to help define strategies for large, ambiguous areas and lead cross functional teams (including executive stakeholders and partners teams) from ideation to measurable product impact.
Product Management Director, Codec Avatars Responsibilities
  • Drive strategy and execution for high priority product initiatives at Meta
  • Lead strategic initiatives that cut across multiple product groups, communicating strongly with inspiration and motivation for the team
  • Responsible for the success of the organization
  • Create structure, success metrics and criteria
  • Advise and mentor leaders as they execute against the product roadmap and drive measurable results
  • Hire, grow and retain top talent
  • Collaborate, navigate and influence across the organization and broader Meta organization
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in leading and growing product management teams
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex, global-scale projects
  • Experience running CEO-level reviews and shaping the evolution of the company’s business model
  • Experience of thinking through tough problems, and building 0-1 solutions
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make business decisions
  • Experience managing and scaling organizations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a consumer focused technology company
  • Experience building 0-1 products, or with AR/VR technology

$323,000/year to $381,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
