Application Engineer, Salesforce Responsibilities
  • Build integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise applications.
  • Re-imagine productivity by shipping transformative products that serve Meta’s Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Architect highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
  • Utilize knowledge of SOAP and REST-based Web Service APls, the Bulk API, Metadata API, Apex language and Salesforce Lightning Web Components, to work with product managers and drive strategic value, through custom business applications built on the force.com platform.
  • Understand and drive performance metrics for business value.
  • Build interfaces for complex systems and high-quality tools.
  • Build and support production quality software as well as own projects end-to-end.
  • Work with Product managers to drive strategic value through custom applications built.
  • Work with peer code reviews and enforce development best practices for the entire codebase.
  • Help manage technical debt, mentor and train peers on architected solutions.
  • Explore, design and build on automation opportunities to increase Sales productivity and drive revenue impact.
  • Assist with technical ownership of projects and managing resources.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • Requires 2 years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Work with structured and unstructured DBs, SQL and RDBMS technologies, SOA design principles while handling volumes of data and performance tuning
  • 2. Programming languages such as Java, C++
  • 3. Salesforce Application development using Apex and LWC programming language, and
  • 4. System design and architecture for enterprise solutions.

$176,463/year to $190,300/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
