Data Scientist: Instagram - Creator Monetization

Instagram's mission is to inspire creativity that brings people together. Creators are at the heart of this mission: we succeed if Instagram is a creator's first choice for building their home and sharing their creativity. As part of Meta's creator efforts, we are invested in building many different ways that creators can monetize across Facebook and Instagram. 'Engagement Bonuses' are one part of this complex ecosystem -- they reward creators for producing content that drives engagement on our platforms. How can such programs be win-win for creators, for Meta's business, and for users who want to see content from creators they love? That's a fascinating and challenging problem space, and one that no company has 'solved' in a sustainable way. We're looking for an experienced DS to act as a technical lead for Instagram's efforts in this area. They would partner closely with peers across Instagram and Facebook, and would need to blend deep empathy for the creator experience, understanding of how the Instagram ecosystem works, and sophistication in pricing and ranking systems, in order to help us find ways to improve such programs's overall ROI and utility to creators.
