Are you passionate about working on technical product foundations that are long term and cut across product groups while helping those around you be more effective? Do you think about technology and data as a way to increase efficiency and change how a business operates? We are looking for candidates that share our passion for tackling complexity head-on to help build complex technical systems and platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), for the Monetization Experimentation Platform, you will be evolving the ML Experimentation platform, increasing predictability and reliability of ML experiments. You will work with Infra and Ranking teams of talented engineers, product managers, data scientists, and other cross-functional team members to build easy-to-use and effective machine learning experiments while holding a high quality bar for the ads businesses rely on us to deliver across our Family of Apps. We are looking for experienced technical leaders who can support complex, multi-platform development efforts at consumer scale while maintaining clarity of product and technical strategy, and organisational awareness. As a TPM, you'll commit to hands-on learning of the team's technology in depth, breaking down product requirements into engineering milestones and leading the team to predictably deliver critical goals. You will be the key advocate for ML performance and reliability within the team - identify potential issues and challenges related to model performance, data quality, and experiment design. Devise strategies to mitigate these challenges and maintain a high standard of reliability in all experiments. Also, proactively identify risks associated with ML performance and reliability and formulate contingency plans to address potential issues that may arise during experiments. You’ll communicate progress and drive program execution efficiently through cross-functional and cross-organisational collaboration to achieve business goals. You’ll be an integral part of the team who will drive technical strategy, system architectural discussions, and make future-proof decisions that align with product strategy and vision.
