Reality Labs is looking for a Field Marketing Manager (Brand Advocacy) for the 3rd party retail channel. Reporting to the Global Lead of Field Sales, this person will own the local strategy, deployment and measurement of Global Field Sales/Advocacy Programs in the retail channel. They are responsible for translating our initiatives into compelling sales and demo programs that reflect the brand while creating an exceptional customer experience. The primary function of this role will be to be the liaison between Meta and our outside agency partners for the design and execution of our sales and brand advocacy programs. This role will manage all aspects of the Brand Advocacy Sales Program including but not limited to; driving performance against sales KPIs, mentoring and providing leadership to the agency’s account team and field teams.
Field Marketing Manager, Retail DACH Region Responsibilities
  • Grow sales revenue, market share, brand advocacy and purchase consideration
  • Set strategic direction and measurable KPIs for third party agency
  • Partner with agency to ensure best-in-class programs are built and executed against
  • Manage performance of agency’s field sales team which will include holding account team and field management to program standards/results, such as budget and ROI targets
  • Facilitate weekly conference calls and daily communication with the agency team
  • Support and motivate the agency field and account team to provide added value to the program and to achieve Meta goals and objectives
  • Work with Global Training Lead on training content and deployment
  • Analysis of competitive strategies, products & promotions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key sales leaders, including field based representatives
  • Reports key activities regarding sales, competitive position, and customer issues/inquiries to leadership as actionable insights
  • Develops and manages sales strategies and customer management plans that deliver against key business metrics and objectives and maximize opportunities
  • Manage and lead budgets for all agency spend. Lead the charge for new contracts, POs and engagement with Finance. Proactively review Labor Spend reports to identify gaps and propose solutions
  • Contribute to event execution strategy and measurement plans. Drive agency staffing plans, education, and reporting. Collaborate on all event recaps and posting efforts including learning and go-forward recommendations.
  • Review all KPIs with agency on a weekly basis
  • take accountability for results, question gaps, push for growth. Compare results to global partners.
  • Build direct relationship with analytics to define and prioritize impact analysis.
  • Collaborate with agencies to consistently reevaluate and optimize field coverage models (quarterly). Manage balance of field time allocation across sales channels.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, channel) to consult on retail field program execution and solutions. Lead internal meetings to share results, build strategy, define success and build new solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working with retail agencies for innovation and continual improvement
  • 10+ years of retail management, field management, and/or experience in a field sales/retail environment
  • Experience streamlining and improving processes, and troubleshooting
  • Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external agencies
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, experience detecting inconsistencies and errors
  • Interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Knowledge about new technologies and GTM strategy and execution
  • Experience aligning with sales organization to drive sales, recommendation & attach rates
  • Experience being proactive to improve customer sales performance
  • Experience with retail measurements, field team reporting, data tools and tactics.
  • Local experience in the Retail Consumer Electronics industry.
  • Experience in project management and leading large and small scale initiatives at retail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing retail sales reps, brand event ambassadors and training representatives
  • Experience with project management tools (example: Asana)
  • Experience in the VR / AR / Gaming industry
  • Experience building compelling and strategic slide presentations
  • Knowledge of local Consumer Electronic retail chains and penetration strategies
