Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Oversee Meta's cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features
  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and privacy stakeholders across the company (including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams)
  • Work with product managers and other privacy stakeholders to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges
  • Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions
  • Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented
  • Build relationships and collaborate within cross-functional teams
  • Communicate to different types of audiences both internally and externally
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted (remote work benefit)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Global Management, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a computer or operations-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience in the following:
  • Online privacy
  • Organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvements programs
  • Business process analysis
  • Privacy or technology law, policy, or programs
  • Working on cutting edge products on social media applications
  • Working on data mining and data querying languages such as SQL
  • Working on program creation, development and iteration in a product focused organization
  • Consulting with product teams on privacy related aspects of products, and
  • Working with cross-functional teams including Legal counsel, privacy policy, product management, or product marketing management
