Global Quality Data analyst

On the Global Operations Quality team, we measure how effectively Meta is creating safe and open environments for our users and positive experiences for businesses across our family of apps. We use that information to drive continuous improvement processes across our organization. We are looking for a data analyst who shares our passion for helping make Meta a safe place for people and businesses to connect across the world. The right candidate will be comfortable in a fast-moving organization and excited to collaborate cross functionally. You will possess strong quantitative analytical skills, statistical knowledge, data visualization skills and communication skills, and the ability to build strong partnerships to drive impact across the organization. This position will be based in our Dublin office, supporting a global team.
Global Quality Data analyst Responsibilities
  • Partner with teams within Quality, the broader Global Operations organization, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
  • Analyze data, conduct research and synthesize feedback into plans, processes and playbooks
  • Build/maintain data infrastructure (reporting layer data pipelines, reports, dashboards, alerts) to monitor the performance of our operations and drive business understanding
  • Propose creative technical and quantitative solutions to problems and drive these through to implementation e.g.through identification of data & tooling requirements enabling self-service / scalable solutions
  • Communicating results of analyses to non-technical stakeholders who are the users of systems involving metrics, pipelines, and dashboards
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years professional experience working in an Operations, Analytics, Product, Engineering or equivalent team, preferably in a technology company, consulting firm, or similar fast-paced environment
  • B.A. or B.S. degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics or equivalent trainingB.A. or B.S. degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics or equivalent training
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL, Python, or R
  • Professional experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Experience with statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, probability, regressions, experimentation logic and biases, data modeling techniques, time series analysis)
  • Professional experience with reporting systems, data pipeline architecture, data modelling, and automation
  • Experience explaining technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to varied audiences and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Math, Statistics, Analytics)
  • Experience thinking strategically, structurally solving product problems, and driving execution
  • Experience developing data pipelines via SQL and Python-based framework
