WhatsApp is looking for an experienced consumer marketer who is passionate about building brands and is experienced in developing and executing insights-driven brand and consumer marketing plans. In this role, you will develop innovative large-scale campaigns and activations, lead multiple agencies to grow the brand. This is a foundational role within the India marketing organization, that will play a critical role in the development of brand WhatsApp, including payments.
Marketing Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of functional strategy, across WhatsApp mother brand, payments, privacy initiatives and other upcoming features/priorities to the brand
  • Shape the strategic execution vision for marketing and brand communications across the calendar year
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy & execution for campaigns for India that help us meet our short and long term business goals
  • Partner closely with the XFN teams globally and locally, across different functions, to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
  • Inspire and manage creative partners to develop their best work and drive business results
  • Develop actionable insights to inform inventive marketing strategies. Track performance of campaigns to provide data-backed insights to optimize campaigns and find new opportunity areas
  • Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to management and to the broader organization
Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working with media and creative agencies
  • Understanding of consumers, with a demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to develop marketing strategies and plans
  • Deep understanding of building brands on digital platforms and curiosity to drive innovation in marketing execution
  • Experience in leading and communication, with demonstrated talent at building collaborative partnerships with product partners and other cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams to ensure we are launching our programs seamlessly, and to the highest impact
  • Experience driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the implementation of digital (Growth and upper funnel) and traditional media strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams and senior management
  • 7+ years of experience in managing and executing large scale consumer marketing campaigns and long-term brand building through a diverse media mix
