Meta is seeking a full-time candidate to join our Design Engineering and Construction (DEC) team. This team is responsible for creating the end-to-end People Strategy, driving the creation and execution of people-related programs and initiatives that foster employee engagement as a cohesive and creative work environment. The individual in this role will help define, launch, and lead initiatives in support of DEC’s people development, workforce development and communication’s strategies across a global team including more than 600 Meta employees and over 20,000 partner participants in our program with Contractors, Designers & Engineers. In addition, they will provide strategic and operational leadership for initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Lastly, this individual will work with Meta partners to develop frameworks that encourage workforce development within the trades supporting our data center construction projects.
Program Manager, Strategy Lead, Resource Planning & Development Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end People Development Strategy, driving the creation and execution of people-related programs and initiatives that foster employee engagement as a cohesive and creative work environment
  • Support the development of career and leadership development opportunities and initiatives within DEC
  • Uplevel the on-boarding experience for DEC new hires though the standardization of new employee onboarding modules and other efforts, while collaborating with other Meta employee experience programs as the DEC representative
  • Identify both leader and individual contributor training needs, recommend, and implement solutions that align to the DEC Vision and evaluate and measure effectiveness
  • Analyze root causes of engagement and culture issues such as work life balance, morale, trust, connection to Meta culture, and suggest corrective actions
  • Organize trainings to develop employees’ communication abilities and Meta engagement, such as presentation development, copy creation, and public speaking
  • Administer and roll-out effective workforce training modules in support of DEC vision and goals for example intensity
  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve the contingent workforce (CW) management program for DEC, including creating intake, and managing the engagement with the CW companies to ensure business needs are met
  • Engage and lead efforts for workforce development within the trades that support Meta data center projects in more than 25 locations globally, growing to 35-50 over the next 3-5 years
  • Help build, launch, and lead initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion, including Women in Construction, Construction Inclusion Week and Culture Council
  • Ensure creative content meets objectives and audience goals while adhering to brand, style, and standards guidelines
  • Ensure that our DEI (Diversity Equity Inclusion) vision is infused into the fabric of the organization through its systems, tools, policies, structures, and practices
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience working in a high growth company and demonstrated success in launching and maintaining people development programs
  • Experience to accomplish organization objectives by organizing and monitoring work processes
  • Experience designing, leading, and executing programs that drive change
  • Experience to build working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Established leadership skills including experience to manage stakeholder groups and work collaboratively with multiple partners
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion challenges in a fast-growing company including how to scale programs for the future
  • Proven planning, organization and time management skills, attention to detail, experience to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Experience building people development and career growth programs from the ground up
  • Analytical skills, experience turning data into insights and a compelling narrative
  • Effective communication skills, keen appreciation for follow up, follow though, attention to detail with proven communication skills in drafting, editing, and making presentations to groups and individuals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of the data center of like scale construction industry
  • General knowledge of the skills required of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Engineers, QA/QC engineers, Safety engineers, Schedulers, and other roles required to support the DEC mission

$143,000/year to $199,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and final location. Also, this range represents base salary only and does not include the company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits , if applicable.
