We are seeking a Head of Brand Design to lead the design function within CX, and lead brand design across Meta’s entire portfolio. This senior leadership role is responsible for activating brand strategies and driving forward a design-led vision across all of Meta’s brand touch points, all around the globe.
We expect this role to elevate design quality, foster an inclusive design culture, create new ways of working and partner seamlessly with engineering, product, marketing, and sales. This leader will support an incredible team of designers to do the best work of their careers.
An ideal candidate is deeply curious about technology, can build and maintain senior relationships, and influence large orgs and their leadership towards a powerful vision. The ability to thrive in ambiguity, adopt new processes and embrace change is required. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in conceptual design systems, and a proven track record of successfully leading integrated brand efforts.
Head of Brand Design, Creative X Responsibilities
Drive the global brand design vision for all of Meta’s products and services
Lead a high performing team to develop original, breakthrough brand systems, behaviors and design solutions that serve a global audience
Foster and grow brand design culture through enabling a world-class design team
Drive decision making processes and ways of working to improve performance, quality and integrated approaches to execution
Lead with vision, influencing Marketing, Product and Business leadership to develop holistic brand systems
Minimum Qualifications
15+ years experience in design, building consumer brands globally
10+ years of demonstrated people management experience coaching and developing team members
Experience leading with creative vision, purpose and innovation
Experience leading leaders
Experience driving business results in ambiguous problem spaces
Experience building portfolio brands and working with brand architecture
Experience across integrated design work: traditional, product, packaging, retail and experiential
Experience recruiting talent and developing design careers
Experience collaborating, driving consensus among highly cross functional teams
Experience partnering with and influencing Chief Marketing Officers and other executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
