Facebook Gaming's mission is to build the world's gaming community. Over 700 Million people play games, watch gaming videos or engage with gaming groups each month on Facebook. We are seeking a Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) to develop, manage and maintain relationships with our key developer partners in the gaming industry. The SPM will play an important role within the North America Gaming Partnerships team, supporting our range of strategic partners across key platforms. The SPM will help gaming partners optimize their presence on Facebook and help maximize the value they generate from our various platforms. This role will work directly with game developers but will also interface with internal stakeholders and support the developer internally.
Strategic Partner Manager, Gaming Responsibilities
  • Think creatively with prominent companies in the gaming industry to build durable, long-term partnerships by understanding their strategy and goals
  • Represent Facebook Gaming and provide thought leadership and perspectives in external meetings with partner executives
  • Own adoption of Facebook Gaming platforms (including mobile SDK, instant games and cloud games) via developers and platform partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, marketing, and finance
  • Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
  • Use analysis and gaming industry expertise to source and develop new partner opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in business development or account management
  • Experience working effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Experience initiating and driving business opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the gaming industry
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams
  • Experience partnering with game developers and publishers
  • Business development experience negotiating gaming or media deals
  • BA/BS Degree
