Meta is looking to hire an experienced Manager as Head of its AMER App Monetization business. This regionally focused role sits within the Gaming & App Monetization Solutions (GAMES) organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the vision, leading the team and go-to-market strategy, and revenue performance of our App Monetization solutions, both on and off platform. The ideal candidate will have a very strong business acumen, ability to quickly synthesize complex external and internal business context and operational detail, strategize solutions and will also have experience in managing revenue in fast-paced environments. The Manager should be impact-driven and execute both the core App Monetization business and other strategic initiatives as well. Success in this position further requires a passion for people leadership including diversity and inclusion, strong analytical skills, a relentless focus on client and partner service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Head of App Monetization, Americas Responsibilities
  • Lead the AMER App Monetization sales team
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with Meta’s Publisher clients, partners, as well as other key decision makers in the industry, ensuring our clients and partners regard Meta as their most trusted and valued business partner, particularly focusing on delivering business results for them
  • Partner closely with leaders from the GAMES and Meta Business Group to bring a OneMeta approach to collaboration and value creation for partners
  • Team leadership including recruiting, training, and development
  • Diagnose and explain key trends and short term movements in revenue
  • Serve as a strong public presence for Meta’s App Monetization businesses
  • Work closely with sales operations and key cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven communication skills
  • Experience building high performing, inclusive teams
  • Experience forging relationships, advising c-suite leaders and key stakeholders across large-scale, global companies
  • Experience driving monetization and performance strategies within the gaming industry
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Experience successfully working in a highly collaborative manner across a variety of business functions and geographies
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience working in Tech, Marketing, Media Sales, Online Advertising, Business Development, or Business Consulting
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Meta’s portfolio of products, proficient in advertising and monetization products
  • Experience in a fast paced, high growth, and entrepreneurial culture
  • Proven knowledge of the competitive, technological, economic environments and the impact on Meta’s overall business
  • Experience developing and motivating a diverse, regionally dispersed team
  • 3+ years of people management experience and cross-functional team relationship building
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates with experience leading publisher-facing adtech sales team
  • Demonstrated experience with digital media platforms, advertising metrics, and industry trends (Direct Response marketing, data and technology solutions, ad-tech, partnerships)
