The Partnership Marketing team is seeking a creative leader to lead a team of designers, producers and project managers working with our audience and product marketing communication teams to bring solutions and our story to life for our partners. Our partner audiences include creators, gamers, developers, media companies, community leaders, non-profits and more. We are looking for an experienced people manager who can bring the best out of a creative team while managing the cross functional aspects of being part of a matrixed marketing organization. A problem solver who will help us reimagine how Meta goes to market, this person must understand marketing, and have a desire to innovate the way creators and businesses connect to people. The team does everything from presentation design to video production to web and campaign creative. The right candidate will have experience in these areas while being able to go from strategic to focused and back while moving fast and making things.
Director, Creative & Design - Partnership Marketing Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of creatives, producers and project managers working across industries with various creative challenges
  • bringing a creative cohesion to the greater partnerships organization.
  • Concept and create campaigns and marketing material, including digital, to communicate to a variety of different audiences.
  • Lead and direct both internal teams and external agencies executing across mediums of video, digital, brand development, print, presentation and live event.
  • Push the envelope to experiment with new products and lead on new technologies.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to plan and develop a range of marketing strategies.
  • Mentor and coach team members in order to keep a high bar on our overall creative and strategic thinking.
  • Own team budget, operational direction, as well as the team service level agreement with the various business units supported.
  • Be excited by the opportunity to build creative that drive business outcomes like awareness, consideration and product adoption.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in brand marketing/advertising as a CD/art director or CD/copywriter
  • 8+ years experience managing a creative team, including creative operations
  • Extensive experience developing strategically grounded, brilliant creative applied in a variety of mediums - video, digital, stories, marketing collateral, event themes, and media campaigns
  • Expertise in creating and building creative for Meta platforms, and a desire to experiment with new formats and technologies
  • Experience thinking big and apply that to the wide scope of opportunities – from individual publishing ideas to campaign ideas to full on, long-standing platforms
  • Entrepreneurial - This team is inventing every day and it takes tenacity, bravery and the experience seeing the big opportunities to thrive
  • Storytelling and communications skills. Experience bringing an idea to life from a white board through creative execution
  • Strategic - Understanding of brand marketing and how to build relevant creative strategies
  • Leadership - The experience to be an inspirational and transparent leader with the direct team as well as with cross-functional partners
  • Expert Adobe skills (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)

  • Proven effective leader of creative teams
  • A creative thinker that can own projects from concept to completion
  • Experience managing effective and efficient project management teams
  • Highly organized, with experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Experience gaining consensus and win credibility internally
  • Extensive experience managing vendors, agencies & creative high performers
  • Experience working well under pressure, with tight deadlines
  • Experience multitasking and take the lead on several projects simultaneously
  • Keynote & PowerPoint skills
  • Understanding of motion graphics and video editing
