Creative Director, AI

Reality Labs brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. We have a clear mandate to ship products at scale. We are currently looking for a Creative Director to join our art team to help set the vision and strategy for a range of AI based products. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, Artists, Researchers, and Marketing professionals to drive innovation and create groundbreaking experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of art creation tools, a passion for new technologies, and a track record of thriving in fast-paced environments. As the Creative Director, you will provide guidance to teams and production partners, while also being hands-on when needed to ensure exceptional results.
Creative Director, AI Responsibilities
  • Partner with leads on the strategic, creative, and technology direction of Art across a range of new product experiences.
  • Establish a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation of AI based experiences on various platforms.
  • Push the boundaries of how Art is represented and produced using new tools and processes.
  • Inspire the creative team to be passionate and ambitious in their work.
  • Maintain and manage consistency of visual quality across various products.
  • Effectively influence leaders and key partners across Meta products to gain alignment and communicate with conviction.
  • Partner closely with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that would elevate the quality of art and user experience.
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working cross-functionally, balance the needs of stakeholders, and break down complex narratives into simple, but compelling ideas.
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a demonstrated experience to communicate complex and abstract concepts.
  • Extensive industry experience as a Creative Director or Art Director at a game company, agency or similar field.
  • Experience working hands on in real time 3D & 2D creation workflows. Demonstrated experience and understanding of new creation tools, workflows in the emerging industry landscape.
  • Experience providing direction on visuals and creative strategy.
  • Proven experience understanding technical capabilities and constraints, and the creativity to imagine new uses for them
  • Highly strategic thinker and communicator
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working across a range of AI creation tools & workflows like Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Dall E, Adobe Firefly and Gen-2.
  • Experience working in the AR/VR industry.
  • Examples of shipped, creation tool and/or products.

$152,000/year to $212,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
