As the Technical Project Manager in Legal Technical Support Operations, you will be responsible for investigating and communicating the quality and stability of internal products as reported by internal stakeholders. You will manage a team that is the face and bridge between Support Services and our partners in Product engineering and other functions, focusing on operational readiness, user self-service, facilitating insights, and driving improvements to the user and Support Services Specialist experience. Technical Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Resource coordination to ensure timely and effective execution of projects, and planning of future projects
  • Create and maintain a detailed project plan & activities to track progress, changes, updates, and scope
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and scope - managing risks, issues, assumptions & dependencies
  • Report on key milestones, achievements, risks, and issues to all project stakeholders
  • Create, compile, and maintain appropriate project documentation with support from colleagues
  • Ability to proactively work with your extended team and customers to ensure there is a clear understanding of objectives, priorities and expectations
  • Manage a small team of full time employees and vendors to assure all goals and projects are delivered on time
  • Quickly become knowledgeable in product features, dependencies, and statuses and serve as the communication hub between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Manage capacity planning and resource allocation, timelines, and risks for sprints, projects and cross-team dependencies
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, roadmap, financial, and or technical goals
  • Plan goals and projects and set priority within teams based on quarterly and yearly initiatives and commitments
  • Work with TPM and Operations teams to prepare for product release efforts (training and documentation readiness updates, coordination between teams, understanding and enforcing task ownership between teams, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to connect the user needs to Tech team, Product and Operations team by providing project updates, strong planning and cross-team coordination, risk identification and mitigation, and a solid understanding of the business needs for future development
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or program support
  • 5+ years of experience managing a cross-functional project team
  • 5+ years of operational experience with program/project metrics tracking and reporting
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team and goals planning
  • Ability to generate progress reports to different type of audiences
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to break down systems into key components
  • Understand product features and defects well enough to help support product specialists with prioritization, task breakdown, and making decisions when needed
  • Ability to lead through influence, without direct authority or supervision
  • Ability to work across geographic time zones with all stakeholders
