This job is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to shape Meta's Credit Risk approach to it's growing Hardware business. This will give the successful candidate the chance to use their credit experience to directly influence our credit risk approach to companies who are at the very forefront of the Metaverse. We currently have a well established credit risk practice in the ads space, and this role gives the opportunity to develop this in a whole new direction.
Hardware Credit Risk Policy Manager Responsibilities
  • Drive the Credit Risk approach to Meta’s expanding product range. Lead interactions with Cross-functional (XFN) teams to understand the intricacies of the Credit Risk approach required for new product ranges, with a focus on the Hardware range.
  • Oversee and scale the development of Meta’s Credit Risk approach in relation to new products. Create a roadmap and priorities while being accountable to milestones and delivery deadlines.
  • Develop and manage the credit risk appetite for hardware products in line with Meta’s existing global credit risk appetite.
  • Create full documentation of credit policy and standards within the Credit Risk Framework (this will include the new and existing frameworks). Lead the rollout of these standards. Develop and manage a change control process for updates to the credit risk standards and governance frameworks.
  • Evaluate existing workflows and frameworks to proactively identify gaps in policy/standards/documentation and develop solutions.
  • Work with Product Managers & Engineering partners to develop any infrastructure requirements from inception to delivery.
  • Ensure that the Credit Risk Hardware approach taken is understood throughout the organization and compatible with existing methodologies.
  • Act as primary contact for cross functional partners and as a subject matter expert by providing guidance and identifying opportunities of leveraging Credit Risk approach in their processes.
  • Facilitate conversations with Data Science, Engineering, Operations, forecasting and reporting teams to build and scale unique frameworks for new products and to align on shared goals and responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience working within credit risk from a ‘physical goods’ /supply chain background.
  • Experience in policy creation and documentation.
  • Experienced and independent subject matter expert on credit, capable of working on own initiative whilst delivering best practice solutions that deliver the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Experience leading end-to-end Credit projects (planning, design, hands-on development, stakeholder management, communication and maintenance).
  • Possesses a can-do attitude and can get things done with limited supervision.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong relationship builder and capable of credibly managing internal and external executive stakeholders. Sought after for guidance on strategy.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to start new strategies and frameworks from scratch with limited support.
