Analyst, Ops Excellence Responsibilities
  • Apply a data-driven approach to identify, understand, and scope emerging operational trends on Meta’s platform.
  • Drive key performance metrics, build dashboards, derive analytic insights, manage large datasets and network-based data, work with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, develop queries and reports on relational databases, use advanced analytic techniques, communicate and present analytic results and partner with data science, product, engineering and operations teams to solve problems at scale.
  • Guide the operations team using data and insights.
  • Develop hypotheses and employ a diverse toolkit of rigorous analytical approaches, different methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches to test them.
  • Quantify new opportunities and identify upcoming challenges for the support landscape at Meta.
  • Use data-driven stories to convince and influence cross functional partners using clear insights and recommendations.
  • Help partner teams prioritize what to build, set goals, and understand their ecosystem.
  • Prepare management reporting: report performance on a biweekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to key stakeholders and leadership, supplemented with high-quality analysis and relevant insights.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Management Information System, or a related field and 2 years in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Experience must include 2 years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Quantitative analysis
  • 2. Excel and SQL
  • 3. Reporting systems and data pipeline architecture
  • 4. Data analytics and statistical programming using statistical tools, including one of the following: R, SAS, or SPSS
  • 5. Data visualization tools, including Tableau or Micro Strategy
  • 6. Leading data-driven projects from definition through interpretation and execution
  • 7. Solving problems using data and providing practical business insights
  • 8. Technical presentation skills
  • 9. PHP, Python, Perl, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, or VB
  • 10. Influencing data, business, and engineering teams through an understanding of business and ecosystem needs
  • 11. Communicating and working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
  • 12. Establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

$188,586/year to $203,280/year + bonus + equity + benefits
