The Site Security Manager supports the Data Center - Global Security Area Manager in reducing risk, responding to incidents and overall direction & leadership of the on-site security team. Supports and executes global physical security programs, initiatives, processes, and best practices to build a safe and secure environment. Supports the Global Security Area Manager in implementing and supporting Global Security Operations, Data Center Security, and Crisis Management initiatives, processes, and best practices to strengthen strategic goals and drive performance metrics. Manages the crisis management team in emergency situations. Acts as the site Security lead in the absence of the Global Security Area Manager.
Global Security Site Manager - Singapore Data Centre Responsibilities
  • Ensures site security team is following all Facebook polices, Global Security Standards, Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Where no global standards, protocols or SOPs exist, the Site Security Manager helps develop and maintain local standards and procedures to ensure the effective execution of Global Physical Security strategies to include enforcement of business conduct and integrity standards, employee safety and security, investigations, crisis response, business continuity and security and government partnerships
  • Manages the training of site personnel on new security equipment and procedures. Monitors the vendor’s training of the site security team on all current and new technologies and processes
  • In the absence of or in support of the Global Security Area Manager, communicates effectively to key partners on incidents, emerging risks, and other issues that may impact Facebook’s data center operations, employees, or vendors
  • Manages the site’s crisis management function
  • ensures activities in support of resiliency, business continuity, and incident response support site’s circle of leadership decision-making processes
  • Assists in the coordination of security services to support planned and unplanned operations, and supports incident investigation efforts
  • Manages site security audit and compliance program
  • develops corrective plans in partnership with the Area Security Manager when risks and vulnerabilities are identified
  • Manages site security pilots and projects, providing physical and operational security and data center operational subject matter expertise for implementation while communicating project updates to the Global Security Area Manager and others impacted
  • Monitors key performance indicators, determines gaps in performance metrics, and recommends/executes change management techniques for efficiency/quality improvements
  • Develops and supports strategic plans and projects to meet site security goals and objectives
  • Influences and improves upon existing processes through innovation and operational change
  • Evaluates the performance of existing site security technologies and systems and ensures the identification and escalation of issues or opportunities for improvement
  • Oversees the security support to site construction and facility retrofit initiatives in accordance with Global Physical Security standards, maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout construction efforts
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of site/campus security management experience
  • Planning, organizational, and motivational experience
  • Experience drafting in technical and non-technical formats
  • Experience presenting both extemporaneously and in formal settings
  • Experience in root cause analysis, industry benchmarking, survey evaluation and data interpretation
  • Experience in the areas of emergency/disaster management, physical security, critical incident stress management, risk management and business resiliency
  • Experience with emergency procedure protocols and regulatory interfaces
  • Knowledge in physical security strategies, principles, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Experience with security technologies including Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, Security Operations Centers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications
  • Security management experience in a Data Center or similar environment
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
