Facebook is seeking a Content Analyst to develop and activate insights about how people connect over content. The ideal person will be passionate about the intersection of media and technology and seek to understand how content can drive product initiatives. This role will work closely with a cross-functional team to analyze consumption patterns, audience adoption, publisher and content trends. This is a unique opportunity to conduct analysis to drive strategy and programming decisions across Facebook’s family of apps.
Content Analyst Responsibilities
  • Develop research and measurement approaches for evaluating the success of content published on Facebook and consumed by people around the world
  • Deliver data-driven, actionable insights about global and localized content for the Content Strategy & Acquisitions team and other teams within the company
  • Leverage knowledge of publisher and content performance to drive scalable content investment decisions
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of experience, including conducting research/analysis projects
  • Experience analyzing data to tell a story and make recommendations
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL to drive efficient analysis and reporting of trends
  • Experience working independently and a track record of taking initiative in uncertain, dynamic environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Tableau or other data visualization software
  • Knowledge of Hive and Python-based data pipelining
  • Understanding of global content consumption trends
