Every day, people come to Meta to connect with friends and family, discover what's going on in the world, interact with businesses, find potential customers, and build community. Meta’s Global Operations team exists to help them. The Developer Compliance Operations team ensures that applications integrated with our platforms are high-quality and trustworthy. Working closely with other Meta teams, we investigate and detect apps not compliant with our Platform Policies. Depending on the nature of the violation and the best user experience, we may take a variety of actions; everything from helping the developer/publisher fix the problem, to permanently removing the developer/publisher and application from our platform. We are committed to improving the platform experience for users, publishers and developers through the use of automated detection tools, analysis of on and off platform audit findings, data analysis, guidance, and coordination with product teams. Meta is looking for a strong team player who will be responsible for conducting recurring audits across its monitoring tactics to identify potential violations of our policies. Successful candidates have a passion for understanding the “why” behind complex problems. They have a demonstrated audit and compliance background, leverage data and technical expertise to make data driven decisions to mitigate risk, as well as succinctly communicate complex risks to leadership. In this position, you will interface with internal teams such as Policy, Legal, Engineering, and other Meta Investigation teams, as well as with external Developers using our platforms. Successful candidates must be able to understand causation, share lessons learned and demonstrate impact by preventing recurrence.
