You will join our Enterprise Support Team, who are responsible for helping internal colleagues to resolve their tech issues to enable them to do their best work each day. Prior experience in ICT is desirable but not required, this is an opportunity to kick-start your ICT career, to learn, to grow and to contribute to our ongoing story here at Meta.

This is a 19- month fixed term contract, based in our Dublin office.

Enterprise Support Tech (19 months Fixed Term Contract) Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and/or escalating incoming technical issues to your teammates as appropriate, in a timely manner ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the cycle of support.
  • Providing end-user assistance where required until the issue has been resolved.
  • Assisting new Meta staff - helping them to understand processes for capturing, documenting and resolving IT related questions and problems.
  • Ensuring proper recording, documentation and closure of trouble tickets.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently
  • Have authorization to work in Ireland
  • This is a junior role so an aptitude for problem solving is required, however ongoing on-the-job training will be provided to develop your technical skills in this role.

  • An interest in new products / service releases.
  • Ability to provide well-organized feedback to your colleagues
  • Knowledge or interest of emerging industry practices.
  • Ability to pay attention to the small details within project or daily support work.
  • A desire to learn, grow and contribute as part of a team.
  • Computer skills.
  • A desire to provide the best “customer experience” possible.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • 12 months experience in technical support in either a corporate or retail environment is desirable, but not necessary.
