Facebook is seeking a Sales Lead - DACH to lead, build and inspire a centralized sales team that can forge powerful client and agency relationships to deliver outsized results on ambitious targets while playing a strategic role in developing the DACH region. As part of the Global Business Group (GBG), this role will be directly responsible for leading a sales team of Account & Partner Managers who help clients and where relevant agencies get the best results from their marketing campaigns on Facebook – through account planning, consultation, education, optimization, and support. This role is a unique opportunity to influence strategy, develop a high-performing team who drive the strategic and commercial relationships with mid-sized companies and building strong internal cross functional alignment. In addition to developing a high-performing consultative sales team that exceeds targets, you'll be responsible for working with other teams across Facebook to create and grow markets, verticals and scale programs focused on improving the Facebook experience for our partners such as clients and agencies. This position is full-time and located in our Dublin, Ireland office and will focus on the growth and support of our agencies throughout DACH.
Sales Lead - DACH Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team who work with agencies where you will coach, develop and motivate team members
  • Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring and sharing results
  • Team development including recruiting, training, mentorship and career guidance
  • Develop and lead strategic programs to grow the business
  • Provide business analytic strength to help facilitate initiatives critical to ongoing growth at market and regional levels
  • Drive overall operational efficiency across sales and business operations
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in consultancy, client or media sales, agency, digital advertising and marketing experience
  • Ability to build trust with clients & agencies helping our team grow their companies by delivering a consultative sales approach to clients and partners
  • Track record of inspiring, leading and developing teams either directly managed or as a peer
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals, leading change and driving operational excellence through data, process & systems
  • Strong knowledge of the digital marketing industry and experience with direct response advertising campaigns
  • Fluency in German and English to enable frequent, hands on sales coaching
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous people management experience
  • Understanding of the FB product suite, and experience in translating the output of complex data sets in a client friendly narrative for B- and C-level contacts
