Meta is seeking a dynamic manager to fill the position of Systems Manager - Revenue Controllership. You will be joining a new Revenue Systems Controllership team responsible for governing and fortifying Meta’s global revenue accounting systems to ensure accurate and insightful accounting of more than $80 billion in annual ad revenues. The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of our underlying systems and code base impacting revenue recognition and accounting. You will partner closely with a broad range of cross-functional teams to identify key risks & opportunities for system automation and monitoring. You will build and deploy analytical solutions that strengthen Meta’s revenue accounting systems and processes in our dynamically evolving product landscape. You will be challenged every day to utilize your deep technical knowledge to solve complex analytical problems in a scalable way.
Systems Manager - Revenue Controllership Responsibilities
  • Develop an end-to-end understanding of Meta’s ad revenue accounting processes, system dependencies, controls, and risks
  • Understand design of controls supporting revenue data flows and how assurance on control effectiveness is obtained
  • Gain visibility on historical system deficiencies and their impact on revenue accounting
  • Standardize upstream data sources impacting revenue accounting accuracy
  • Partner with engineering teams to build scalable data infrastructure design and system solutions
  • Translate complex business rules into automated system controls and monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and distill complex concepts into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Work with large and complex data sets to build automated dashboards and self-service tools for revenue accounting teams
  • Leverage statistical tools and methodologies to diagnose system performance
  • Partner with product teams to understand impact of new features and experiments
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant analytical experience in accounting, finance, or a similar field
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing statistical packages (R or Python)
  • 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success working with large, complex data sets in a business analytics function
  • Experience communicating complex concepts to a wide audiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Statistics, Analytics, Systems Engineering, Financial Engineering or Data Science
  • Familiar with accounting, controllership, internal audit, and/or risk management principles
  • Experience working on large cross-functional data projects
  • Familiar with A/B testing and other product experimentation methodologies
  • Knowledgeable in time series analysis and other predictive modelling techniques
