Meta is seeking an Infrastructure Materials Manager to focus on inventory management across all the Infrastructure that supports Data Center and Edge operations. The candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams including sourcing, demand planning, finance/accounting, business and engineers to drive improvements in inventory. The ability to effectively lead, influence & communicate across these teams throughout the operational process to achieve the optimal results is paramount to this role. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, will have strong analytical & critical thinking skills to consolidate and analyze large volumes of data and will be comfortable operating in high-growth environments.
Infrastructure Materials Manager Responsibilities
  • Establish holistic Inventory Management policy driving improvements in planning and execution. Recap and analyze business results and plan on a daily/monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc basis.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and report on cross-functional inventory KPIs/SLAs to ensure effective execution, integration and performance against inventory targets. Propose and implement solutions to improve working capital requirements. Drive inventory control management and metrics (financial risk, accuracy) with upstream stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop and manage inventory ownership and management policies – storage locations, inventory movements and transfers, CIP (Construction In Progress), impairment, final disposition and retirements.
  • Build effective working relationships with business partners across the organization. Participate in IBOS and boundary projects. Provide subject matter expertise on inventory control procedures.
  • Identify process and tooling improvement opportunities in the inventory space and enable scalability in a global environment to support various Infrastructure programs.
  • Maintains excellent interdepartmental and intradepartmental relationships at all levels of the organization by providing the strong support, operational guidance and transparent communication.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Business Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Operations, Supply, Demand or Inventory planning and execution.
  • Problem-solving orientation with experience defining cross-functional processes and systems requirements to drive efficiency, clarity and accuracy.
  • Executive level communication and interpersonal skills with cross functional partner collaboration skills. Includes experience articulating complex concepts in simple terms to engage cross-functional partners on decisions, priorities and action plans.
  • Self-starter, experience navigating ambiguity and providing direction and structure to a team and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience in data analysis and planning.
  • Experience innovating process and system development and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent degree.
  • Experience working for a hyperscale company with a global data center footprint.
  • Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes (planning/inventory, NPI, sourcing, manufacturing, and forward/reverse logistics).
  • Experience reporting and visualizations in Tableau or similar tool.
