Our Risk and Payments team’s purpose is to serve our global community by providing payment support, upholding our payment principles, and protecting individuals and businesses against payment abuse. We seek to lead the payments industry in trust, integrity, and support. To help us achieve this mission, we are adding a Partner Data Solutions Lead in our Partner & Business Solutions team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Data Analysts across different functional roles which span across our global Meta family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, Oculus, Portal, Messenger, WhatsApp) and underlying products that involve a payment transaction.
Manager, Payment Data Solutions Responsibilities
  • Provide both technical and subject matter expertise to Data Analysts to help them solve complex business problems and enable performance measurement across our payments landscape
  • Evolve the team to create a deep understanding of a complex technical environment through data, tools, systems, products and reporting
  • Manage and oversee the execution of internal and external third party assessments and audits
  • Provide leadership to understand, collaborate, and influence across the organizations that connect with the Audit & Reporting team
  • Establish and grow solid cross-functional relationships with Product, Finance, Compliance, Security, Operational teams and Data Engineering
  • Together with your direct manager, provide strategic direction and define the teams' vision and goals that tie into both those of Risk and Payments and company overall goals
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team while removing roadblocks to enable them to do their best work
  • Communicate the work and impact across the team to your direct manager, leadership across Risk and Payments and other key stakeholders
  • Continually drive efficiencies through operational rhythms and processes managed across the team
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working in a data-driven environment
  • 3+ years of experience working in payment, finance or accounting environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with online payments data
  • 2+ years of experience managing a data focused team
  • Experience with relationship management and navigating through a complex and highly matrixed organization
  • Experience manipulating large data sets in SQL or equivalent, and drawing actionable insights from data
  • Experience with strategic thinking with an analytical and problem solving approach
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, Business or similar or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working in the payments industry, focused on how to improve payment processes
  • Experience delivering measurable results in risk, security, payments, or business strategy
